Dark Glitter
About Me

A mental health clinician of ten years, I have always had a knack for wanting to understand others at their deepest layers. I believe that while we are all complex, we are all also very simple, running on the basic human need to see love.

Initially I started my work at domestic violence shelters and after receiving my master degree, went into the field of mental health, serving several years helping individuals with addiction, depression, and anxiety. After eventually noting that many individuals want help with symptoms and behaviors that can be linked to traumatic experiences, I put my entire focus to helping individuals unlearn responses developed in stressful childhood situations.

I consider myself a down-to-earth individual. Many individuals who come to see me have a tendency to feel different from others, as I myself, a native of rural Nebraska often felt different from everyone around as well. I welcome individuals of all spirituality and faiths as I believe spirituality is an important piece to healing. My goal for all my clients is to no longer be limited from the negative beliefs that keep them stuck and to experience true and genuine healing from painful events in the past.

I am married to my husband Marcos and together we raise a flock of furry friends. In our time together, we enjoy visiting National Parks, traveling throughout the western states of the country, challenging ourselves through hiking, and hanging out at local coffee shops. In my own spare time I enjoy writing, reading, celebrity gossip, watching documentaries, binge-watching television shows, bargain hunting, taking long walks, yoga, and belly dancing.

Below is a list of areas and specialties that I bring to my practice.
